Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing Engineering Lab – Schreiner University has partnered with Killdeer Mountain Manufacturing (KMM) to provide students with a robust and spacious laboratory. The lab functions as a workspace for Engineering lectures and lab work, as well as a meeting place for student research, organizations, and events.

The Alamo Colleges Greater Kerrville Center (GKC) delivers accessible, career-focused education tailored to the needs of Kerr County’s workforce. By partnering with local employers, GKC equips students with the skills needed to enter the workforce or advance their careers—playing a critical role in building a skilled, job-ready talent pipeline for the region.

Early College High School (ECHS)
ECHS students earn credits toward a high school diploma and either earn an associate degree or at least 60 credit hours toward a bachelor's degree.
Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH)
P-TECH students receive both a high school diploma and a credential and/or an associate degree. The hallmark of the P-TECH model is its career focus and the provision of work-based education.

Skills for Small Business
Through the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Skills for Small Business program, small businesses can apply to TWC for training offered by Alamo Colleges District. TWC processes the applications and works with the college to fund the specific courses selected by businesses for their employees.

The Alamo Colleges Continuing Education (CE) Division offers Accelerated Industry Skills Training for Job & Educational Advancement.
Continuing Education offers customized and emerging occupational training, Occupational Skills Awards, and articulations that path into Academic Credit Hours for certificates and degrees, known as CE-2-Credit.

Workforce Solutions Alamo – Kerrville Career Center: Empowering Employers & Job Seekers
The Kerrville Career Center, part of Workforce Solutions Alamo, provides comprehensive employment and training services to businesses and job seekers across Kerr County. Employers benefit from no-cost recruitment support, labor market insights, and training assistance, while job seekers can access career counseling, job placement, skills training, and childcare resources. Through strong regional partnerships, the center plays a vital role in supporting workforce development and aligning talent with local industry needs.

Workforce Solutions Alamo’s (WSA) Youth Empowerment Services! (YES) offers no-cost services to eligible youth between the ages of 16-24 who face barriers to education, training, and employment. The YES program helps young individuals acquire the education, training, and skills required to join the workforce and fulfill employer demands. Funding is provided through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) work experience program is an opportunity to provide qualified candidates a supervised, structured learning environment to develop work habits and gain occupational skills with the goal of fulltime employment. The aim is to increase the participating trainee’s likelihood of securing regular unsubsidized employment.

Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) On-the-Job Training (OJT) program is designed to provide dislocated workers and other eligible individuals with job opportunities for which they would not otherwise qualify.
Ingram Tom Moore P-TECH Program
The Ingram Tom Moore P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) program offers students a unique opportunity to earn a high school diploma, industry certifications, and college credits—tuition-free. Focused on career pathways like Welding, Cybersecurity, and Healthcare, the program combines academic instruction with hands-on experience and professional mentorship. Through partnerships with employers and higher education institutions, students are prepared to enter the workforce or continue their education with a competitive edge.


Center Point ISD Culinary Arts Facility: A Hub for Hands-On Learning
Center Point ISD has unveiled a state-of-the-art Culinary Arts Bistro, a 4,000-square-foot facility designed to provide students with practical skills for careers in the culinary industry. The building features two classrooms, teaching kitchen labs, and a bistro space intended for community events and meetings.
